As a Google AdWords customer, we use Google conversion tracking, an advertising analysis service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). As part of this process, Google AdWords places a cookie on your computer (“conversion cookie”) if you were directed to our site by a Google ad. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages of ours and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can tell that someone has clicked on the ad and was then directed to our site. Every AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained with conversion cookies is used to compile conversion statistics. AdWords customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were then directed to a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. If you don’t want the ads displayed for you on your various devices to be coordinated, you can turn off personalised ads in the Ad Settings.
