As a Microsoft Advertising customer, we use Microsoft Advertising conversion tracking, an analysis service of Microsoft Corporation (One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA; “ Microsoft Advertising”). For this, Microsoft Advertising places a “conversion cookie” on your computer if you reach our website via a Microsoft Advertising ad. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages of ours and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Microsoft Advertising can tell that someone has clicked on the ad and consequently been redirected to our site. Each Microsoft Advertising customer receives a different cookie. Cookies therefore cannot be tracked through the websites of Microsoft Advertising customers. The information gathered using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Microsoft Advertising customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were directed to a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.
